Dr. Kotwal has performed one of the largest personal series of PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) in North India, with nearly 4,000 procedures, and has conducted over 300 renal transplants. He pioneered microsurgery in the Armed Forces and has extensive experience in uro-oncology and pediatric urology. His work in endo-urology and vascular reconstructions has garnered international acclaim. Dr. Kotwal is also recognized for performing complex genito-urinary reconstructive surgeries, including sex reassignment procedures.
